    The dataset of runoff plot observations was obtained in the Binggou watershed foci experimental area from Jun. 19 to Oct. 17, 2008. The runoff plot (38°03′, 100°13′, 3472m, with a slope of 20.16°) was 10m long, 5m wide and 80cm deep, with soil depth about 50cm and sandy clay and gravels beneath (50-80cm). The main vegetation type is scrub (about 20cm high) and grass (about 3cm high). Observation items included the surface flow, interflow (80cm down the land surface), and precipitation at a fixed point at the right of the runoff plot. One subfolder and two data files (directions on data observations and raw data) were archived.

    The aerosol optical thickness data of the Arctic Alaska station is based on the observation data products of the atmospheric radiation observation plan of the U.S. Department of energy at the Arctic Alaska station. The data coverage time is updated from 2016 to 2019, with the time resolution of hour by hour. The coverage site is the northern Alaska station, with the longitude and latitude coordinates of (71 ° 19 ′ 22.8 ″ n, 156 ° 36 ′ 32.4 ″ w). The source of the observed data is retrieved from the radiation data observed by mfrsr instrument. The characteristic variable is aerosol optical thickness, and the error range of the observed inversion is about 15%. The data format is NC format.

  • 祁连山综合观测网:黑河流域地表过程综合观测网(垭口站涡动相关仪-2018)

    This dataset contains the flux measurements from the Yakou station eddy covariance system (EC) in the upper stream reaches of the Heihe integrated observatory network from January 1 to December 31 in 2018. The site (100.2421° E, 38.0142° N) was located in the Qilian County in Qinghai Province. The elevation is 4148 m. The EC was installed at a height of 3.2 m, and the sampling rate was 10 Hz. The sonic anemometer faced north, and the separation distance between the sonic anemometer and the CO2/H2O gas analyzer (CSAT3&Li7500A) was 0.15 m. The raw data acquired at 10 Hz were processed using the Eddypro post-processing software, including the spike detection, lag correction of H2O/CO2 relative to the vertical wind component, sonic virtual temperature correction, coordinate rotation (2-D rotation), corrections for density fluctuation (Webb-Pearman-Leuning correction), and frequency response correction. The EC data were subsequently averaged over 30 min periods. The observation data quality was divided into three classes according to the quality assessment method of stationarity (Δst) and the integral turbulent characteristics test (ITC): class 1-3 (high quality), class 4-6 (good), class 7-8 (poor, better than gap filling data), class9 (rejected). In addition to the above processing steps, the half-hourly flux data were screened in a four-step procedure: (1) data from periods of sensor malfunction were rejected; (2) data collected before or after 1 h of precipitation were rejected; (3) incomplete 30 min data were rejected when the missing data constituted more than 3% of the 30 min raw record. There were 48 records per day, and the missing data were replaced with -6999. Suspicious data were marked in red. The power loss occurs occasionally at this site. Data during May 24 to June 21, 2018 were missing due to the insufficient pow supply. The released data contained the following variables: data/time, wind direction (Wdir, °), wind speed (Wnd, m/s), the standard deviation of the lateral wind (Std_Uy, m/s), virtual temperature (Tv, ℃), H2O mass density (H2O, g/m3), CO2 mass density (CO2, mg/m3), friction velocity (ustar, m/s), stability (z/L), sensible heat flux (Hs, W/m2), latent heat flux (LE, W/m2), carbon dioxide flux (Fc, mg/ (m2s)), quality assessment of the sensible heat flux (QA_Hs), quality assessment of the latent heat flux (QA_LE), and quality assessment of the carbon flux (QA_Fc). In this dataset, the time of 0:30 corresponds to the average data for the period between 0:00 and 0:30; the data were stored in *.xls format.   • 青藏高原气溶胶光学特性地基观测数据集(2009-2016)

    The measurement data of the sun spectrophotometer can be directly used to perform inversion on the optical thickness of the non-water vapor channel, Rayleigh scattering, aerosol optical thickness, and moisture content of the atmospheric air column (using the measurement data at 936 nm of the water vapor channel). The aerosol optical property data set of the Tibetan Plateau by ground-based observations was obtained by adopting the Cimel 318 sun photometer, and both the Mt. Qomolangma and Namco stations were involved. The temporal coverage of the data is from 2009 to 2016, and the temporal resolution is one day. The sun photometer has eight observation channels from visible light to near infrared. The center wavelengths are 340, 380, 440, 500, 670, 870, 940 and 1120 nm. The field angle of the instrument is 1.2°, and the sun tracking accuracy is 0.1°. According to the direct solar radiation, the aerosol optical thickness of 6 bands can be obtained, and the estimated accuracy is 0.01 to 0.02. Finally, the AERONET unified inversion algorithm was used to obtain aerosol optical thickness, Angstrom index, particle size spectrum, single scattering albedo, phase function, birefringence index, asymmetry factor, etc.

    BJ-1 dataset includes 11 scenes, covering the upper and middle reaches of the Heihe river basin, which were acquired on 10-21-2007, 11-19-2007, 01-09-2008, 03-03-2008, 04-04-2008, 04-16-2008, 05-01-2008, 05-16-2008, 07-01-2008, 07-06-2008 and 07-08-2008. The sensor was MSI, substar resolution was 32m, fov was 22.06°, the orbit was 686km high and the dip angle was 98.1725°, the focal distance was 150mm, CCD pixel was 7μm, the near infrared band was 760nm-900nm, red wave band was 630nm-690nm and green wave band was 520nm-620nm. The data version is Level 2, which was released after geometric correction. BJ-1 dataset was acquired from "Dragon Programme" (grant number: 5322).

  • 黑河流域TM影像数字镶嵌图(2010)

    The Landsat TM Mosaic Image of the Heihe River Basin can be effectively applied to monitoring land-use change of the basin, which reflects the current situation of the Heihe River Basin in 2010, and provides a reliable basis for ecological planning and restoration. This mosaic image collected the TM images released by the USGS for free in 2010 (data from July to September 2010, totally 21 scenes, the maximum cloud amount is less than 10%), and the preprocessed images were geometrically registered by topographic maps(polynomial geometry correction method), then a geometrically-corrected digital mosaic map was generated, which was of high quality after a certain accuracy evaluation. The images were stored in ERDAS IMG format, and the most abundant bands 5, 4 and 3 combination, with three colors: red, green, and blue were selected to generate a color composite image. The combined composite image not only is similar to natural color, which is more in accordance with people's visual habits, but also can fully display the differences in image features because of the rich amount of information.

  • Randolph冰川目录(RGI)(2012-2017)

    The Randolph Glacier Inventory (RGI) is a complete inventory of global glacier outlines published by GLIMS (Global Land Ice Measurements from Space). It is currently available in six versions: Version 1.0 was published in February 2012, version 2.0 was published in June 2012, version 3.0 was published in April 2013, version 4.0 was published in December 2014, version 5.0 was published in July 2015, and version 6.0 was published in July 2017. The data sets include four versions, which are 6.0, 5.0, 4.0 and 3.2 (revision, August 2013). The data are organized according to different regions. In each region, each glacier record includes a shape file (.shp file and its corresponding .dbf, .prj, and .shx files) and a .csv file of height measurement data. The data are from GLIMS: Global Land Ice Measurements from Space (http://www.glims.org/RGI/) Data quality checks include geometry, topology, and certain attributes, and the following checks were performed: 1) All polygons were checked by the ArcGIS Repair Geometry tool. 2) Glaciers with areas less than 0.01 square kilometres were removed. 3) The topology was checked with the Does Not Overlap rule. 4) The attribute sheet was checked by Fortran subroutines and Python scripts for data quality.

  • 黑河流域水资源开发利用史料数据(1947-1948)

    From 1947 to 1948, the Hexi Water Conservancy Project Corps of the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of China compiled the Heihe Mainstream Water Conservancy Project (15 items). This is the first comprehensive engineering plan compiled by the whole basin based on modern hydraulic engineering principles. This batch of planning mainly focus on irrigation projects, taking into account inter-basin water transfer and flood control projects. Most of these projects achieved varying degrees of realization after 1949, but the plan to introduce the Datong River into the Heihe River has never been implemented. The collection of hydrological and socioeconomic data in these documents was mostly completed during the Anti-Japanese War, and was completed by the Gansu Irrigation Works, Plantation and Pasturage Company. It is the earliest and systematic data of the basin. It has irreplaceable value for analyzing and understanding the water conservancy development and socio-economic situation of the Heihe River mainstream during the Republic of China. The main contents of this data include Zhangye, Shandan, Minle, Linze, Gaotai reservoir projects, groundwater interception and irrigation projects, surface runoff irrigation projects, irrigation canal system consolidation projects and other plans.

    Sketch map of 1:50000 geological map of hulugou small watershed in 2012, hulugou watershed is composed of Quaternary loose stratum and pre Cenozoic bedrock stratum. The pores of the bedrock stratum are mainly fissures and covered with thin residual slope deposits. The Pleistocene alluvial proluvial sand gravel layer (q3al + PL) above the piedmont plain is dominant. The loose formation in the front of the glacier is Holocene moraine gravel layer (q4gl), which is distributed under the modern cirque and forms lateral moraine and final moraine dike (ridge).
