Tourism situation and ranking of different regions in China (2006-2010)


The data set records the statistical data of tourism situation and ranking (2006-2010) of various regions in China, and the data are divided by year. The data are collected from the statistical yearbook of Qinghai Province issued by the Bureau of statistics of Qinghai Province. The data set consists of seven data tables with the same structure. For example, the data table in 2011 has four fields:

Field 1: Province (city, district)

Field 2: number of inbound tourists (10000 person times)

Field 3: foreigners (10000 person times)

Field 4: total foreign exchange earnings from international tourism (US $100 million)


File naming and required software

The data set is stored in Excel format, including seven worksheets, which are the tourism situation and ranking statistics of various regions in China in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Data files can be opened with office software or imported into relational database system. The data table involves 10000 person times and 100 million US dollars.
