Consumer price index of cities and counties in Qinghai Province (2016-2020)- A Big Earth Data Platform for Three Poles

The data set records the statistical data of consumer price index (CPI) of surveyed cities and counties in Qinghai Province from 2016 to 2020. The data is divided by year and regions such as Xining, Datong, Ledu, Pingan, Haiyan, Tongren, Fuyi, Maqin, Yushu, Golmu and Delingha. The data are collected from qinghai Statistical Yearbook released by Qinghai Provincial Bureau of Statistics. The dataset contains seven data tables, which are: To investigate the consumer price index (CPI) of cities and counties in 2016. XLS: to investigate the CPI of cities and counties in 2018. XLS: to investigate the CPI of cities and counties in 1999. Consumer Price Index of surveyed cities and counties 2000. XLS, Consumer price index of surveyed cities and counties of Qinghai Province (2019). XLS, Consumer price index of surveyed cities and counties of Qinghai Province (2020). The data table structure is the same. For example, the 1999 table had nine fields:

Field 2: Food, tobacco and alcohol

Field 3: Clothing

Field 4: Residence

Field 5: Daily necessities

Field 6: Traffic and

Field 7: Educational culture

Field 8: Health care

Field 9: Other supplies

File naming and required software

The data set is stored in Excel format and contains 7 worksheets, which are the information statistics of consumer price index of sub-survey cities and counties in Qinghai Province in 2016, 2017, 2018, 1999, 2000, 2019 and 2020 successively. The data files can be opened using Office or imported to a relational database system. The units of the data tables are exponential (Preceding year=100).
