Map of flood hazard level of Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau (2021, 250m)

Based on the concept of Height Above Nearest Drainage ( HAND ) derived from the international digital elevation model, the HAND model was used to identify the flooded area, and the spatial distribution of flood hazard level in the flood area of the study area was established. Flood hazard in the study area is divided into 1-5 grades, of which 5 represent very high risk, 4 represent high risk, 3 represent medium risk, 2 represent low risk, 1 represent very low risk.

File naming and required software

File name: the basic data of flood disaster risk in the Qinghai Tibet Plateau is stored in TIF format. The name of the file is "250 m flood risk level data set. TIF in the Himalaya and water tower area of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau", in which the Himalaya and water tower area of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau represent the research area and 250 m represents the grid spatial resolution.
Data reading method: the files in the data can be opened with applications that support TIF format (such as ArcGIS), and the main content is numerical value to represent the risk level.
