AERA5-Asia: A Long-Term Asian Precipitation Dataset (0.1°, 1-hourly, 1951–2015, Asia) Anchoring the ERA5-Land under the Total Volume Control by APHRODITE
File name: AERA5 precipitation data is stored in GeoTiff format, and the file is compressed and stored in year. The compressed file name is "yyyy. 7z", where yyyy represents year. After decompression, the GeoTiff file name is "AERA5_yyyymmddhh.tif", where yyyy represents the year, mm represents the month, dd represents the day, and hh represents the hour, such as AERA5_ 201501010000.tif represents that this document describes the precipitation estimation (UTC) in Asia from 0:00 on January 1, 2015 to 1:00 on January 1, 2015, AERA5_ 201501010030.tif means that this document describes the precipitation estimation in Asia from 0:30 on January 1, 2015 to 1:30 on January 1, 2015, in mm/h. To obtain hourly precipitation, average the two files in the hourly period.
Data reading method: AIMERG precipitation data set in GeoTiff format can be read by MATLAB and other tools, or opened directly by ArcGIS and ENVI software.
