Qilian Mountain comprehensive observation network: Plant diversity monitoring in Qilian Mountain (plant survey data - 2018)
Data file naming method and usage:
The data file is an excel file (.xlsx format), the herbal sample data is placed in the “herbal sample” table, the shrub sample data is placed in the “shrub sample side” table, and the arbor sample data is placed in the “arbor sample” table.
Description of the data table header:
Reporter: Data compilation and filling personnel
Date of investigation: sample survey time
Research area: According to Qilian Mountain Basin
Ecosystem type: According to vegetation, it is divided into forest, shrub, grassland, grassland and desert.
Type of vegetation (name of dominant species): estimate at the time of the survey
Sample location: specific tributary or place name
Longitude, latitude, altitude: using handheld GPS and mobile phone built-in GPS
Sample number: According to the plotting time and vegetation, the plots are prepared from 1, and the plots without vegetation survey are not recorded.
Sample number: label according to different type
Sample size (m2): sample area, square meter
Total coverage (%): estimated
Sample total total biomass (g): collection of measured (drying and weighing) combined with estimation
Species Name Chinese Name: Reference Plant Identification Manual
Species name (Latin name + species name): Search according to the identification manual and Chinese Flora (online version)
Species Coverage: Estimation
Average plant height (cm): Calculate the average value of more than 6 individuals in the sample
The number of samples in the sample side: the species count
Cluster number: shrub line
Crow height (cm): the height from the base of the shrub to the highest point of the plant
Crest crown - north-south direction (cm), crest crown - east-west direction (cm): shrub, arbor north-south direction and east-west crown
Single plant number (subspecies): the same species of arbor in the plot
Tree height, cm: arbor plant height, measured using a laser range finder
Breast diameter, cm: 1.3m at the chest circumference divided by 3.14
Live branches are high, cm: number of major canopies from the surface distance
